Hi, My Name is Zina Zabat
I am 41 years old from Vancouver, a professional chef, a mom first, and someone who has always been deeply passionate about the art of cooking.
My Story
I spent more than ten years working in restaurant kitchens, where I learned discipline, refinement, and creativity. Those years shaped me and gave me a true passion for flavor and precision.
Life took a new turn when I became a mother. After the birth of my son, I went through some health complications. That experience opened my eyes to the power of food in supporting healing and well-being. It was the moment that pushed me to focus more on healthy eating and the impact of natural, nourishing foods on energy and balance.
A Personal Turning Point
Although I was trained to cook all types of cuisine, this journey inspired me to specialize more in healthy, balanced meals. To strengthen my knowledge, I completed several trainings and earned a certificate in Nutrition and Health from Harvard University. Today, I combine my culinary expertise with science-backed nutrition to create meals that are both delicious and good for the body.

Through ImChefToday, I want to show that anyone can cook like a chef at home. I share quick, affordable, and nourishing recipes designed for busy families and professionals.
